I joined AGDA (AMS Game Development Association) September 2017 looking to meet other potential developers to make games with.
I talked my way into a team of 8 and slowly but surely became the software and project lead of this game. Seeing how everyone has their own work, assignments and other priorities, I was not expecting all 8 members to still be us by the end of the year, let alone end of the term
So I divided up the work in a way that is modular and can easily be passed onto someone else which means lots of decoupled scripts and frameworks.
At the end of year showcase, we succesfully presented the MVP of our project to a panel of game industry experts and was voted 3rd best game out of 10 games completed at AGDA.
