Knots - A ketchapp game developed for the iOS platform where the player controls the lighthouse to save as many ships as possible from crashing into the middle

While learning to develop iOS applications in Swift and Objective C, I stumbled upon the Apple game development kit called SpriteKit and decided to make a game within a week.

There were a few features that SpriteKit had compared to Unity that made development a lot faster and smoother such as their animation api. An example: If I wanted a gameobject to go from one point to another on Unity I would probably put coordinates and if statements inside the Update(){..} function. However in SpriteKit, it's just the simple class func move(to location: CGPoint, duration: TimeInterval) -> SKAction.

At the end of the day, each game engines have their own pros and cons.
